A Guidance Counseling Session At Budhanilkantha School.
    Author: Ujwal Thapa
    Post Date: 9/17/2002
    Dear members,

There was a 2 day Guidance Counseling Session held by SEBS, on the 16th and the 17th of September at Budhanilkantha School for A level students (200C). It was organized in an one on one as well as small groups sessions. Altogether, 36 students took part in this 2 day session.
Ujwal Thapa coordinated this counseling program and Batsal Devkota was on hand to help him in assisting the students.

Various issues were raised by the current students, including the fact
a)of an absence of one full time guidance counselor and the confusion created by 4 co-counselors for the A-LEVEL students
b)Also the potential of alumni members networking with current students could be greatly improved.
c)lack of information/misconception about US colleges/application rampant amongst the students.

Please send your comments to us,as any offer of help in counseling/networking is highly desired.
