    Notice of Vacant Positions for Doko Library (SDDMLP)

    Nationwide Scholarship Programme (NSP) is glad to inform all SEBSers that SDDMLP is now in the implementation phase. The finalized milestones and deadlines for the project are being submitted to the World Bank. A separate bank account for the project has been opened in Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank, Bagbazar, Kathmandu. NSP has also rented two rooms for the project in the same SEBS Office building.

    NSP would like to invite all interested SEBSers to apply for the following vacant positions by sending their CV, previously written reports, articles, etc. if available, along with an application stating their contribution towards the successful implementation of the project at dokovacancy@yahoo.com by January 11, 2004. Applications can also be submitted at the SEBS Office, Putalisadak.

    All the applicants must be willing to travel to project areas around Barabise and Mahendranagar.

    Applicants should be team players willing to work closely with the Team Leader, NSP Committee, partner organization-DEPROSC, and communities in the project areas. Female Candidates are encouraged to apply.

    The vacant positions are:

    1.Project Coordinator (PC)

    · Service Duration: Twelve Months
    · Remuneration: US$ 133 per month
    · Duty Station: SDDMLP Office, Putalisadak, Kathmandu
    · Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare annual plan and budget; liaison and correspond with concerned agencies; supervise, monitor, and evaluate the project activities; prepare reports, coordinate daily activities of the Project Office.

    2.Information and Communication Officer (ICO)

    · Service Duration: Twelve Months
    · Remuneration: US$ 100 per month
    · Duty Station: SDMLP Office, Putalisadak, Kathmandu
    · Duties/Responsibilities: Compile, document, and disseminate information of the project; assist the project team to formulate project guidelines for implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting; prepare monthly project reports.
