Signing Agreement with the World Bank

SEBS-NSP signed an agreement with the World Bank on February 20, 2004. The agreement was signed by Mr Kenichi Ohashi, Country Director of the World Bank, on the behalf of the World Bank; Mr Suraj Dahal, Team Leader of the Sustainable 'Doko Dai' Mobile Library, on the behalf of SEBS with the delegated authority from the SEBS President. Mr Pitamber Prasad Sharma, the Executive Director of DEPROSC, signed the agreement on the behalf of DEPROSC.
As per the agreement, request letter for the release of the first installment of the grant has also been submitted on February 23, 2004.
SEBS President Prajesh Bikram Thapa, NSP Chairman Gyanendra Raj Pandey, NSP Secretary Bijaya Babu Shiwakoti, Project Coordinator of the Doko Team- Rabindra Maharjan and the Information and Communication Officer of the Doko Team- Kanak Giri were present on the behalf of SEBS.
Project Liaison Officer Dr Rajendra Dhoj Joshi and Project Assistant Tara Shrestha were present on behalf of the World Bank.
