New SEBS-NA Executive Committee Formed

According to our independent Election Commissioner, Mr. Puru Subedi, the following have been elected unopposed for the SEBS-NA Executive Committee:
President: Mr. Sagar Onta (477B), Portland, OR Vice President: Dr. Pramod Aryal (440A), Nashville, TN General Secretary: Mr. Aalok Kharel (772A), Newark, OH Treasurer: Open Immediate Past President: Ron Sitoula (268B), Arlington, VA
Congratulations to the new executive members.
The Treasurer position is open. Kiran Sitoula will take that position until a new person is confirmed by the new excomm.
Sagar Onta: *********** I have been involved with SEBS-NA since its inception in 2000. The first two years I served as the treasurer and the last two as general secretary. As a president of SEBS-NA I would like to give it direction and solidify its reputation in North America as an active group of young entreapuneurs. I would also like to enhance networking among members, provide mentorship and emergency assistance. And lastly, I would like to enhance communication with SEBS and BNKS in Nepal to be able to implement projects in Nepal.
I am a Transportation Engineer from Portland, OR. I am involved in highway design, transportation operational analysis and conducting regional transportation plans. I did my undergraduate in SIIT, Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand in Civil Engineering, and my masters from Purdue Unversity, IN. I am also in the executive committee of Nepali Association of Oregon.
Pramod Aryal: ************** Originally hailing from Gulmi, Dr. Aryal did Ph. D. in toxicology from Japan in 2001, and joined Vanderbilt Univeristiy as a Research Fellow. He worked for SEBS as member and general secretary and was elected member of Tri-Chandra College, Kathmandu, Nepal, for Free Student Union. While studying in Japan, he served as Joint-Secretary and first elected President of Nepali Students' Association in Japan (NESAJ).
He would like to work with new SEBS-NA team to take SEBS-NA to further cause of community outreach and giving, making an effort to make the education and other social systems in Nepal becoming inclusive and just for all the socio-economic-religious group, as is observed in Budhanilkantha School. He would like to promote the Motto of "Sharing is Developing" and "To Make Difference Have to Experience the Difference" so help in people feel difference.
