    SEBS Annual General Meeting 2004 held

    SEBS Annual General Meeting held.

    July 24, 2004 Kathmandu
    Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS) held its 22nd Annual General Meeting amidst a function organized today at the Nepal Administrative Staff College, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. During the inaugural session, the Chief Guest Dr. Arju Deuba, a noted social worker, presented with a 'Citation of Contribution' to different personalities who have contributed to SEBS and NSP.The MC of the program was Madhu Acharya 272B.

    The meeting was held under the chairmanship of SEBS President, Mr. Prajesh Bikram Thapa. Dr. Arju Deuba, addressing the inaugural session expressed that Ex-Budhanilkantha students have left a track record of excellence in more than 30 countries and their contribution to national development is second to none. She also hailed Budhanilkantha School for providing nearly one third of scholarship to students from across the country and suggested the private schools in Nepal to take a similar move to help the poor and bonafide students. Dr. Deuba praised the enthusiasm and voluntary spirit of SEBSers and appreciated the noble effort of the young and energetic youths for launching the SDDMLP and other community based activities.

    Mr. Vidhyadhar Mallik, Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports, Mr. Narayan Prasad Sharma, Principal of Budhanilkantha School and a host of other speakers said the experience of SEBS will be a milestone in the development of quality education in the country.
