Message from SEBS for the SEBS-NA AGM 2006
    July 2, 2006, New York.

    Dear SEBSers in North America,
    Warm Greetings from Nepal.

To begin with, let me heartily congratulate the SEBS-NA Executive Committee-2004/2006 headed by Sagar Onta and each of its executive members for the completion of their two years of successful tenure and continued service to the SEBSers in North America, the Nepalese society and their contribution towards the overall development of Budhanilkantha School (BNKS), hand in hand with SEBS.

The past two years (2004-2006) has been a wonderful experience working with Sagar dai, Pramod dai, Aalok dai, Kiran dai, Kedar dai and Rajan dai of the incumbent SEBS-NA ex-com and other active SEBSers in North America with the overwhelming support and cooperation they extended both to my present executive committee as well as to the previous SEBS ex-com I worked for as the Vice President.

Since our executive committee assumed office on September 2005, we have been successful in carrying out various programs like supporting a cyclist to spread the message of peace in South Asia, free Jazz musical concert for the students of around 20 secondary schools of Kathmandu valley, free health camps, organizing BNKS students' academic visits to various technological centers in Kathmandu; along with our regular annual programs like the SEBS Reunion and welcoming of the youngest batch of SEBSers i.e. '600C' from the school, recently. A "SEBS Fund for BNKS Clubs" has also been established and our first national district chapter "SEBS-Dolpa" has been constituted. These were some of the major programs we were busy with beside others.

As we head into the future, bidding farewell to the present SEBS-NA ex-com and ready to welcome the new ex-com today, I am confident that, the new ex-com will take SEBS-NA to greater heights and continue to strengthen and nurture the foundations laid by its past president Kiran Sitoula and incumbent president Sagar Onta over the last six years, along with the enormous support they received from their executives and other active SEBSers in North America and undoubtedly from SEBS.

Finally, on behalf of the SEBS Executive Committee and SEBSers, I gracefully acknowledge the support received by SEBS from the SEBS-NA Executive Committee, NSP-NA Executive Committee, webmaster Rajan dai, SEBSers in North America and all our well-wishers. I take this opportunity to reiterate and assure you that, we at SEBS are always looking forward to fulfilling our overall goals and objectives as an alumni and thus serving our valued members, our nation and building our alma mater, with even more of your continued support and cooperation in the days to come.

I once again would like to congratulate the outgoing ex-com for their successful tenure and enthusiastically look forward to working with the new SEBS-NA Executive Committee.

Good luck for the election and please enjoy the rest of the AGM.

May lasting peace prevail in Nepal, at the earliest.

    Best Regards,

    Bishan B. Wagle, 952B
    President
    SEBS.
