    Felicitation Program for Janaandolan-2 victims

    Dear all,
    We would like to inform you that SEBS organized a felicitation program for the victims of janaandolan-2. The program was held at Aviation Academy,Naxal on February 3, 2007, Saturday.
    The programme, chaired by Minister for Information and Communication Dilendra Prasad Badu, SEBS distributed Rs 1, 40,100.00 ($2000) among the 18 janaandolan-2 victims.
    The US based Alliance for Human Rights and Democracy in Nepal had handed over the relief sum of $2000 it had collected for treatment of the victims of the movement to the SEBS North America chapter, which in turn was disbursed during the programme.
    The following are the victims who were felicitated during the program:

    The amount is distributed in need basis. Following criteria s were taken into consideration-
    1.3,000.00 beneficiaries are the one who are fully recovered.
    2.8,000.00 beneficiaries are the one who are still undergoing physical therapy.
    3.10,000.00 beneficiaries is the child victim
    4.12,000.00 beneficiaries are the one who are who are still with the metal support.
    5.22,100 beneficiaries is the one who is still unconscious and undergoing treatment in Bir Hospital.
