To Donors in SEBS-North America Re: Tax Exemption

For the last few months, we were trying to work out the kinks with the IRS regarding our status as a 501(c)(3) organization. More specifically, the amount of money that flowed through SEBS-North America last year exceeded $25,000, the maximum amount allowed for a non-profit organization of our nature to remain tax exempt. Consequently, in the acknowledgment emails to many of our donors (mainly those of the Hemraj Memorial Fund, the Padam Ram Fund and the Flood Victims Fund), we mentioned that their donation *might* be tax exempt and that we were waiting for the IRS to confirm that. This is to let everyone know that we have now regained our earlier status and as such, your contribution to SEBS-North America is tax deductible. Please use the email acknowledgment as your receipt and let us know if you need a more formal receipt from our treasurer.
