Newsletter Delayed, Gaurav Tiwari (579C) Appointed Editor
Author: Yubraj Acharya, Spokesperson, SEBS-North America
    Post Date: 5/8/2007
The SEBS-North America executive committee has decided to postpone the current newsletter until mid-June due to time constraints. The upcoming issue will include an interview with at least one former teacher of Budhanilkantha School and class notes for 500B, apart from other regular features such as project updates and news related to BNKS, SEBS, SEBS-UK and SEBS-North America.

The committee has also appointed Gaurav Tiwari (579C) as the editor of the SEBSonline newsletter, per Article IV Section II of the SEBS-North America constitution. As the primary coordinator of the newsletter, Gaurav will work with SEBS, FOBS, BNKS, NSP, NSP-NA, SEBS-UK and SEBS-North America to put together the newsletter every quarter. His responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, collecting news articles, editing them and working with our Webmaster Rajan Nepal to send out the newsletter to our members around the globe.

Gaurav has previously worked as the joint secretary of Journalism Club at BNKS (2001), reporter and editorial assistant of ekantipur.com (Sept. 2005 to Aug. 2006), and most recently as the staff writer for his college newspaper. While at BNKS, Gaurav was the house captain of Gaurishankar and Annapurna Houses (2004-05, 1999-00, respectively) and the school’s student-representative to SEBS. Apart from being involved in several other community service projects, Gaurav has also worked as one of the executive committee members of SEBS (2005-06) where he was involved most closely with the BNKS Club Fund.

We wish Gaurav luck and request everyone to provide any kind of assistance he might need while working on the newsletter.

    Best,
    Yubraj Acharya
