$1,141 raised for Santi School Project at Hope College
Author: Vidhan Rana, Secretary - NSP-NA
    Post Date: 11/12/2007
    Dear members,

Nationwide Scholarship Program - North America organized a dinner at Hope College, MI to raise funds to contribute towards the construction of a school in Ramche, Sindhupalchowk.

The school project is a partnership of Santi School Project (SSP)and the Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP). Construction on the school began just this week. The school aims to enroll around a 100 students during its first year of operations.

With this $1,141, Santi School Project now has more than $12,000 out of the $20,000 needed to build the school. We need another $5,000 to cover the operating expenses of the school for the first two years. SSP, with support from NSP, will oversee the school during the first two years of operations.

If you have any questions or comments regarding the fundraiser or the school project itself, please email us at nspna@sebsonline.org
