Following is the list of books and periodicals donated by SEBS to BNKS Library. These books were donated by Nepalis (Anek Belbase, Manish Pokhrel, Pragya, Anil, Ranjeeta, Kabindra, Kiran Sitoula's in Washington D.C. and Apan Qasem from Bangladesh, Suhneel Roye-India, Saad Tabani-Pakistan and Derek Wilcox-USA), and SEBS-North America arranged for it to be flown to Nepal. Books include: Novels, College Text books, magazines, periodicals, short stories and others. SEBS will be sending booking every 3 months to Nepal. Help Nepal through SEBS. If purchased new, market value of this donation would be around $1,300. Also books/magazines were donated to the SEBS Office in Putalisadak.
SEBS would like to see this project expanded and we seek everyone's kind donation and cooperation. Drop off centers will soon be open in various cities of North America and we are actively recruiting volunteers (college contacts, local Public Library Laison, former and current Peace Corps Volunteers and any well wishers of Nepal) to help us in this project. If you are interested please e-mail sebs25@hotmail.com or Book Project Coordinator Pragya Ghimire at pragie@hotmail.com. Books will also be donated to other schools in Nepal. Our long run goal is to Nepal all schools in Nepal network their library resources and make it available for everyone through inter-library loans systems.

Dear Kiran, I got your email on 4 Dec.2001. I appreciate your feeling about development of the BNKS library in the school. The Resource Center is the ultimate goal of our library where we can incorporate, Audio Visual unit, Language Lab, Historical Archives, Computer Lab, Reference Section, Research tools ProQuest and may other that exists in the web-world. I hope SEBS-members will also be looking for ways to help for it in future. School is also doing it’s own homework by approaching various donor agencies, and HMG has already given sum of 5 lakhs to start this project. I have enclosed the list of presented books with this mail. I will also e-mail to you about the general information about the library.
Thanking you.
