    PRESS RELEASE- SEBS/BNKS COMPLEX PROJECT COMMITTEE
    As per the mandate of 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) SEBS Executive Committee has decided to initiate a maiden project for the development of infrastructure of the SEBS complex in Kathmandu.

    To expedite the project work, the Executive Committee has also decided to constitute at least 51-member SEBS/BNKS Inclusive Community Center Project Committee under the chairmanship of President Suresh Acharya (139A) today in Kathmandu. The project committee will be working towards preliminary works for land acquisition and coordination with various stakeholders, policy formulation, prepare architectural design of the proposed community centre with feasibility report, funding request proposal development and resource mobilization, and implementation and development of the infrastructure.

    SEBS/BNKS Inclusive Community Centre would be the largest project to be undertaken by SEBS since its inception in 1982. The SEBS, with over 3000 active members, is the largest Civil Society Organization (CSO) based in Nepal with a network in all 75 districts and 58 municipalities, and 34 countries of the world.

    The project committee is comprised of three components: Planning and Resource Mobilization Component, Feasibility and Engineering Component, and Development and Implementation Component, each headed by a Senior Advisor.

    The newly elected SEBS Executive Committee has the policy to maximize participation of SEBSers in all its program and activities. Hence the Executive Committee encourages all its interested members to join the team in one of the above departments of the SEBS/BNKS Inclusive Community Center Project Committee, and actively contribute for the further cause of SEBS/BNKS, SEBSers/BNK students and Nepali society.
