    NOTICE: SEBS ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY IN 2010 JULY

    Kathmandu, June 15, 2010: The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS) held today at the SEBS Office has decided to held SEBS Annual General Assembly in the last week of July 2010 in Kathmandu.

    All SEBSErs are invited to register their names before July 24, 2010 at the Admin Officer, SEBS Office Putalisadak, Kathmandu (Tel: 4411390) or by sebs@sebsonline.org to participate in the Annual General Assembly. The provision of prior registration will be done for the purpose of the management of the event and other logistics arrangement.

    The Executive Committee has also decided to present a Amendment of SEBS Article of Association proposal and the SEBS Strategy Paper for the endorsement by the AGM. Besides, the AGM will conduct its regular business such as approval of Annual Report 2009-2010, Annual Financial Report 2009-2010, and held eclection for the New Executive Committee of the SEBS.

    The highlight of the upcoming AGM this year will be that the new life members, including the fresh graduates of Budhanilkantha School (107 members) will be offically inducted in the SEBS and a grand reception will be held in their honour.

    The election of the SEBS Ex-Comm. will be conducted by an independent Election Committee soon to be constitued by the current Ex-Comm.

    The meeting presided over by the SEBS President Suresh Acharya has also decided to constitute a 9-member Annual General Assembly Organizing Committee-2010 by this week. The objective of the Committee will be to organize the AGM in professional and participatory way. However, the Executive Committee will provide all logistic and funding to the Committee.

    Further details of the function will be released at later dates.
