BOT to consider SEBS proposal to support the Alumni
    Author: Suresh Acharya
    Post Date: 7/4/2010
July 4, 2010, Kathmandu. SEBS president Suresh Acharya with the recommendation of the SEBS ex-comm has requested the Board of Trustees (BOT) of Budhanilkantha School to support the SEBS plans and programs.

SEBS President Acharya had requested the BOT in its meeting held at Ministry of Education on 2nd July to consider allocating budget to the SEBS, alumni of the BNKS on annual basis. The annual allocation of 0.5 to 1.0 percent of the Budhanilkantha budget has been recommended in the proposition. Likewise, the SEBS also proposed to the BOT to reserve quotas for the children of ex-students at school entry levels at Grade 5 and post-SLC studies (Grade 12 and/or A Level) from the upcoming academic year 2011.

It is learnt that the BOT has minuted the SEBS requests, and it will decide on the matter in upcoming BOT meetings after further discussion with the government. The SEBS Ex-comm meeting held today in its office has expressed its sincere gratitude to the BOT members, particularly BOT Chairperson Shanker Prasad Pandey, the Secretary of Ministry of Education and Principal NP Sharma, who also is the Secretary of the BOT.
