    SEBS receives grant from the US People for a project

    July 14, 2010, Kathmandu: The Society of Ex Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS) has secured a grant from US People to implement a project for capacity building and training of youths and students on democracy in the Central Terai of Nepal.

    The grant received for the Pilot project, which will be implemented within five months period, is equivalent to approx. US$ 58,000.

    The SEBS General Secretary Tulsi Ramtel has signed the MOU on behalf of the SEBS today amidst a function.

    The project aims to increase awareness on democracy, its essential features, and the role of youth ans students in strengthening and institutionalizing it. The activity also aims to increase the leadership skills among youth, particularly their critical analysis and articulation skills.

    SEBS President Suresh Acharya has thanked US People for partnering with the SEBS- alumni of Budhanilkantha School.
