    Second meeting of the SEBS 28th AGM Organizing Committee met

    Kathmandu, July 30: The SEBS 28th AGM Organizing Committee-2010 met here today presided by Raghu Bir Pandey (106A) at the Auditorium of Nepal Telecom Training Centre.

    The provision of meeting hall was arranged by Binod Mishra Batch Coordinator (Fifth Batch). Participants thank Mishra for his support to the SEBS.

    The meeting was a second in the series of meetings of the Organizing Committee prior to the SEBS 28th Annual General Assembly (AGM) scheduled for August 6, 2010 Friday at 1:00 pm onwards at Nepal Tourism Board Auditorium Hall, Exhibition Road, Bhrikuti Mandap.

    Friends of Budhanilkantha School (FOBS) Representative to the Organizing Committee Ashwin Pudasaini expressed his opinion that the SEBS and FOBS should work together to achieve a good results. He also reiterated that SEBS should be able to utilize its potential to support its members and Alma Mater.

    SEBS President Suresh Acharya (139A) briefed about the tentative schedule of the upcoming AGM. He said, "there will be three sessions namely, inaugural session, closed-door session and social session." President Acharya did a power point presentation about the prevalent Article of Association (A-o-A), 2058 and highlighted where it needs amendments.

    Ex-comm member Bolaram Pandey, Batch Coordinator (Fifth Batch) Binod Mishra and others also expressed their opinions.

    Concluding the meeting, the Chief Convener of the SEBS 28th AGM Organizing Committee expressed that the upcoming AGM would be a meaningful exercise if the prospective contestants, especially prospective presidential candidates present their plans and programs at the AGM for endorsement. He urged that the SEBS ex-comm come up with a constitutional amendment proposal to strengthen the SEBS assembly as well as clearly redefine jurisdiction of ex-comm and general assembly.

    The meeting was attended by two dozens of Organizing Committee members.
