SEBS Ex-comm final meeting held today

Kathmandu, July 30, Kathmandu: The Executive Committee of the Society of Ex Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS) met today in Kathmandu.
The meeting was presided by SEBS President Suresh Acharya. This was the 15th and final meeting of the executive committee before its tenure ends on August 6, 2010 following the formation of a new executive committee by the SEBS 28th AGM.
The meeting unanimously endopted the draft Plans and Programs of the President for the upcoming year, General Secretary's draft report on SEBS activities, Treasurer's annual report of the SEBS finances and Auditor's draft report for the year 2009-2010, the Strategic Plan of the SEBS and proposal on amendments of Article of Association (A-o-A), 2067. These present executive committee will present these reports and proposals for their endorsement by the AGM.
SEBS President Acharya thanked all his office bearers, team mates and colleagues for their support to him in running the SEBS in a critical period of the its history. The meeting was attended by General Secretary Tulshi Ramtel, Treasurer Suman Mandal, Executive Members Bolaram Pandey, Upendra Bom, Deepak Shah, Kaushal Sapkota and Nitish Karki.
Vice President Surendra Shakya, Excutive Member and former President Sagun Lawoti and Executive Member Tejshu Malla had sent apology for their absense in the final meeting for unavaoidable reasons. Both Lawoti and Malla are respectively out of stations.
The present ex-comm had a record 15 meetings within 11 months of its tenure.
The meeting also agreed that the SEBS Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP) Executive Committee will present their annual report in the upcoming AGM to fulfill the mandate of the prevalent A-o-A of the SEBS.
The upcoming AGM will also take decision about the appointment of the Auditor for the upcoming year and its remuneration besides conducting election for the new executive committee.
Following the ex-comm meeting Election Officer Govind Rai (163A) of the SEBS Election Committee-2010 informed the SEBS members that his committee will come up with a notice of election latest by Monday.
