Formation of SEBS Committees Chaired by Vice Presidents

Kathmandu,August 15, 2010: The meeting of SEBS Executive Committee meeting held on August 13, 2010, decided to form following SEBS Committees chaired by respective Vice President comprising of SEBS Executive members and general members as per below. All committees will meet amongst their team members as per the requirement, and report about their works to the ex-comm in upcoming ex-comm meetings.If any of the committee wish to include their agenda in the ex-comm meeting please indicate it to the General Secretary Upendra Bom (814B) at least 72 hours before the meeting of the ex-comm.
I.SEBS OUT-REACH COMMITTEE(SORC):
Chairperson- Mr Tulsi Ramtel, Vice President Members- Mr Bidhyaman Mahatara Mr Kaushal Sapkota Mr Nitish Karki Ms Sudhashree Sayenju
Roles and Responsibilities: The prime roles and responsibilities of SORC is to coordinate SEBS annual programs and events successfully as per SEBS Program and Events Calendar prepared by it. The Annual Calender of Operations shall be made available by the team to the final approval of the SEBS ex-comm latest by the next SEBS ex-comm meeting. The committee will arrange regular supervision of SEBS projects (small and big both) by members of SEBS ex-comm and Batch Coordinators and Memebrs for better results in implementation. The committee will also look after reporting and monitoring of SEBS and its project activities to the ex-comm. and AGM.
II.SEBS ADVANCEMENT COMMITTEE (SAC):
Chairperson- Mr Shyam Nepal, Vice President Members- Mr Sudeep Bahadur Singh Mr Gajendra Bohara Mr Sanjaya Nepal Mr Anup Lal Manandhar Mr Mohan Kuman Giri
Roles and Responsibilities: The prime roles and Responsibilities of SAC include resource generation for SEBS for its sustainability. The Committee will support and augment resources to other committees to launch activities and programs, and involve itself in fund-raising activities, collection of advertisements for SEBS publications, and identifying income generating programs for the SEBS.
III.SEBS PUBLIC RELATION COMMITTEE (SPRC):
Chairperson- Mr Bolaram Pandey, Vice- President Members- Mr.Sagun Lawoti Ms Bartika Rai Mr Dev Chhetri
Roles and responsibilities: The prime roles and responsibilities of SPRC include enhance public relation with various stake holders and networking of SEBS members and mobilization of volunteers to support SEBS programs. The Committee will be responsible in discharging duties related to developing SEBS directory, SEBS institutional brochures, supervsion and guidance to the SEBSONLINE.ORG, SEBS Newsletter publication (quarterly) and Publication of Annual Magazine "Asthaa".
IV.SEBS EDUCATION COMMITTEE(SEC):
Chairperson- Dr. Pramod Aryal, Vice President Members- Ms Sumnima Sharma, Mr Rajendra Bista, 2 Members representing Budhanilkantha School
Roles and responsibilities: The prime roles and responsibilities of SEC include conduct, coordinate, monitor and supervise any SEBS educational programs including Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP) and subsidiary projects related to education sectors. The Committee will also identify new educational and scholarship programs, and enunciate mechansims for running a SEBS Cambridge A Level Institution in Kathmandu on a professional way, galvanizing support from all members who are engaged in the profession currently and finding investors for such projects. V.SEBS HEALTH COMMITTEE (SHC):
Chairperson- Dr. Binod Jha, Vice-President Members- Dr. Tejshu Malla, Mr Binod Mishra, Mr Deepak Shah
Roles and responsibilities: The prime roles and responsibilities of SHC include organize , coordinate, monitor and supervise any SEBS Health programs including health camps, heart check-ups, dental camps, blood donation on a regular and periodic basis etc. Any collaborations with government, non-government and international health agencies will be appreciable. (for example, TU Teaching Hospital, BP Cancer Hospital, BP Hospital Dharan, Rollings (USA) etc.
