    SEBS MBBS GRADUATE DOCTORS WANTED

    Few (5-6) Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students(SEBS)doctors with MBBS degree & NMC registration (temporary or Permanent) are wanted to get involved with the Project REACHING THE UNREACHED; Please visit the website:

    A team of 25 Americans, all experienced surgeons from the AMM (ALOHA MEDICAL MISSION), HAWAI, USA will be conducting a SURGICAL CAMP at Dhankuta District Hospital, from 25th October 2010 to 7th of November 2010.There are G.S (general Surgeons); plastic surgeons; highly experienced Dental surgeons;Obs/Gyne Surgeons & a whole set of supporting team of American Nurses and others to carry out the surgeries.
    The work that needs to be done by the interested volunteers DOCs is to screen patients who will be visiting the hospitals 7 days before the actual Camp starts; i.e from 18th Of Oct. to 25th Oct. You guys and GALS will be responsible for screening patients who are fit WITH RESPECT TO DRUG HISTORY AND medical HISTORY to undergo Surgery For:

    1) For minor surgery: Skin lumps,cysts, moles,skin tags

    2)For major surgery:
    Inguinal hernias in children older than 10 mos of age(highest priority)
    Inguinal hernias in adults ( highest priority)
    Painful umbilical hernias



    Gallstones (high priority)
    Large Skin masses
    Phimosis in children or adults (For Circumcision), easily done, high priority
    bladder stones, easily done, high priority
    hemorrhoids, some and fistulas
    thyroid goiters (lowest Priority)

    Uterine prolapse (highest priority)
    ovarian cysts (High priority)
    Uterine masses(low priority)

    Cleft lips (highest priority))
    burn contractures (lower prority)
    hand injuries (Our plastic surgeon is a trained hand surgeon: we'll have to collect some patients,
    have surgeon see them and decide on operating on some of them
    injury cases (You can try to find more)
