1.SEBS Dashain Celebration with Chief of Army Staffs Gen. Gaurav Shamsher J.B.Rana

The detail of SEBS Dashain Celebration with CoAS Gen. Gaurav Shamsher J.B.Rana was discussed. The programme is going be held after 2 days, i.e. on 15th October 2012.As decided by the Ex. Com earlier ,Mr. Bolaram Panday and Dr.Tejsu Singh Malla 248 C has been handling the event from the EX-Com’s side.
The SEBS President Dr. Tejsu Singh Malla 248 C, informed that invitation had been sent to Principal BNKS, Mr.Suresh Man Shrestha, Secretary of Ministry of Education Government of Nepal And Chairperson, Budhanilkantha School BOT (Board of Trustees), Mr. Mahendra Bista Chairperson FOBS, FOBS’ Representative to SEBS: Mr. Dol Prasad Chapagain, Vice President, FOBS; Teachers’ Representative to SEBS: Mr. Keshar Khulal, VP, HSL. Also invitation has been sent to Major General Pawan Bdr Pande, General (Retired) Dharmapal Bar Singh Thapa,

He also informed the details of the programme schedule. To ensure the programme run smoothly team mobilization was decided. The School captain Rajak and The Senior Student Representative: Sailendra Bista 3019 D and Mahima Ghale 3142 D will be volunteering for the programme.
Mr. Lalit and Mr. Rajan of SEBS-NSP, and Mr. Rajesh Nepali from Ex-com has been assigned to volunteer for SEBS Stall, where SEBS T-shirt, Aastha magazine and SEBS Post card will be sold. SEBSer will also have an opportunity to take Life Membership.
It was also suggested to collect the remaining banner money before the programme.

2.SEBS Deusi bhailo programme

As the SEBS coordinator of Deusi Bhailo programme Mr. Sandeep Sada672C was unavailable at the meeting, details regarding the progress of SEBS Deusi Bhailo programme could not be discussed.

3.I.P. Memorial Art competition

Programme coordinator of I.P. Memorial Art competition, Mr. Rajesh Nepali informed about the progress of the programme. The Art competition is schedule for the month of Novemember.

4.SEBS President Dr. Tejsu Informed the members that, FOBS had organized a programme to exchange the Dashain/Tihar/Nepal Sambat/Chaitha greeting at the school on Friday, October 12, 2012.The SEBS president had accepted the invitation and had participated in the programme.
Also it was informed that amount of US$200 = Rs. 17,050 was handed over to Student For Change (SFC) for their Project in establishing a library in Kalikot, in presence of Mr. Keshar Khulal, VP, HSL and Mr. Tulsi Adhikari, the Club Co-ordinator.We thank SEBS-NA for their contribution. SEBS will be donating books and magazine for the establishment of library.

5.It was also informed that the amount of Rs.4000/- was handed by SEBSer Vijay Tandukar as a payment for SAT Class. SEBSer Vijay has been running a pilot SAT class in SEBS office since last 6 weeks. This SAT class has been run to ensure the alumni is financially responsible.
Also the SEBS Ex.com would like to congratulate Mr. Tandukar for taking the SEBS Life membership.

6.It was also informed that 60 SEBS T-Shirt has been sold in BNKS, and the amount of Rs. 30,000/- has been received by SEBS. As decided earlier by the Ex.Com Rs. 18,000/- will be issued to Mr. Rajan for the T-shirts on its cost price (NRs. 300/-) to relieve Rajan Pathak from his personal liability making it an organizational liability as the event was conducted by the earlier executive committee. The remaining 12,000/- will be kept in SEBS Account.

7.It was also discussed that some of the current EX. Com are not attending the meeting and has been out of touch with the Ex.com itself. Thus it was decide to discuss this issue in the 7th SEBS Ex.com meeting.

8.Office Computer

It was also informed that the SEBS Office computer was not in the SEBS office. The SEBS office computer had been sent for repair by the past Ex.Com, and was not in the office ever since the current ex.com took the responsibility of the office. Despite repeated telephone call, we have not been able to retrieve the computer. Thus, it was decided to discuss this important issue and whether SEBS could buy a new computer or ask it’s valued members to donate one. Currently the Ex.Com is facing problem due to lack of computer. It was decided to discuss the issue in the next meeting; however it was suggested that the effort to retrieve the old computer must continue.

9.It was also decided to ask the SEBS Treasurer Mr. Suman Mandal to present the financial report from the beginning of the tenure of current ex.com. to ensure financial transparency.
