Minute 8
Date: 8 December 2012 (23 mangsir 2069), Saturday
Venue: Kathmandu Academy, Mahendra Bhawan Marg, Sano Gaucharan, Kathmandu.
Time: 10 am to 12:30 pm
The 8th SEBS meeting was held on 8 December 2012, Saturday at Kathmandu Academy, Mahendra Bhawan Marg, Sano Gaucharan, Kathmandu, under the chairmanship of SEBS President Dr. Tejsu Singh Malla.
Following issue was discussed and decision was made.
1.Introduction of New Executive committee Members
The SEBS executive committee decided to terminate executive members who had failed to attend 3 consecutive meetings without prior information . A letter for clarification had been issued on 24th mangsir as per the decision of SEBS 7th Minute meeting.
Despite the letter and telephone information to the members ,they failed to clarify within 5 days, thus as per SEBS Constitution 15.7, they have been terminated.
In the vacant post, Mr. Deepak Shah 212 C and Mr. Sharthak Neupane 288 D has been nominated to the post of executive members.
We wish Mr. Deepak Shah 212 C and Mr. Sharthak Neupane 288 D, all the best .
2.Office computer
Discussion of the letter explaining the missing office computer was discussed.
It was also agreed that the minute must have been done when the computer was taken for repair. It was also discussed that to retrieve the computer was not possible as the location and necessary document is unavailable.
It was also decided that SEBS would not purchase computer for time being and will be purchased when ever needed.Also it was decided that all SEBS properties if taken outside the office premise must be minuted and proper channel be followed.
3.SEBS Deusi bhailo programme
It was also decided to thank and congratulate SEBS Executive committee member Mr. Sandeep Sada 672C, for successfully coordinating SEBS Deusi Bhailo programme 2012.
4.I.P. Memorial Art competition
Details of I.P.Memorial Art competition, was discussed. Mr. Rajesh Nepali is the programme coordinator and the programme is to be held today at 1 pm in Kathmandu Academy.
5.Binod Memorial Dance Competition
The programme coordinator of Binod Memorial Dance Competition Dr.Tejsu Singh Malla informed the ex.com that the programme had to be postponed. There were various reasons which included lack of response from sponsors, the ongoing school exams and the upcoming school holidays in various schools. It was also decided to organize this event of February 2013. Various ideas regarding the programme was discussed. Option of various venues was given.
Any interested sponsor as well as constructive suggestion is welcome. We welcome you to visit SEBS Office, Putalisadak.
6.Life Membership of all current Ex.com members and renew of Active membership (sakriya sadkchya).
Executive members of the SEBS must lead by example, so all the Ex.com member will either be taking the life membership at Rs.1, 500 Or active membership (Sakriya Sadkchya) within next minute meeting.This was decided in 7th minute meeting but to unfavorable situation it has been postponed to 9th sebs meeting.
7.Spontaneous Issues:
A)SEBS-Batch representatives meetings.
It was decided to held a SEBS-Batch Representatives meeting on Dec 29th (14th Poush). SEBS would be contacting with Batch representatives and coordinate for the meeting.
Interested member’s wishing to be a batch representative are requested to contact the SEBS office.
B)Felicitation programme
It was also decided to organize a felicitating programme for the newly appointed Principal Mr. Keshar Khulal and a farewell programme to Mr.N.P.Sharma at Budhanilkantha School on March 2013. SEBS would be coordinating with Budhanilkantha School and the details of the programme will be informed to the SEBSer.
C)Resolving class 5 Entrance preparation books.
An official request regarding payment of Class 5 entrance prepation books has been issued by BBC. SEBS would look into this matter and do needful.
D)SEBS Privilage Card.
It was decided to issue a SEBS Privilage card after detail work up. SEBS hopes to issue the privilege card to it’s members , free of cost. Current homework regarding the privilage card is being done and we hope to issue it as early as possible.
