    14th Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2069

    Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS) proudly presents 14th Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2069.

    As one of the leading alumni, Society of Ex-Budhanilkantha Students (SEBS), formed in 1982 has been successfully organizing the Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition.

    Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition, is a heavily competitive dance contest organized by SEBS since 2047/2048.It is one of the most respected and valued dance contest in the country. We encourage the young talents to our folk culture.


    SEBS is also looking for dynamic and energetic volunteers 15 in numbers. Volunteer's must give significant amount of time to SEBS for atleast 15 days. SEBS Ex.com has the right to select the volunteer's.The work of the volunteer's will be evaluated.

    Event: 14th Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2069
    Venue: Naanch Ghar, Jamal.
    Date: 8th Feb 2013 (26th Magh 2069)
    Time: 2 pm to 7 pm

    Rules and regulations of 14th Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2069

    The Participating Schools are pledged to abide by the following rules and regulations:

    1.All the presentation should be dances with folk songs

    2.Each participating School can have a maximum of 20 Dancers, one dance teacher and one make up person and minimum of 8 Dancers. Dancer should be class 10 or below.

    3.The passes will only be issued to dancers, one dance teacher and one make up person only.

    4.Principal of the school will get 1 invitation card, which is required to be shown at the venue.

    5.If the schools wish to do live performance, the dancers, musicians and other staffs have to buy the tickets.

    6.The presentation of dance will be according to alphabetical order of name of school.

    7.All the participants must arrange their own material and transport.

    8.The participants will be awarded in the following categories:

    •Best Performing School will be awarded a running trophy
    •First runner up trophy
    •Second runner up trophy
    •Best Dance award Male
    •Best Dance award Female
    •Certificates to all the participating school

    9.The organizing committee together with the judges will decide on any arising complications and decisions will be final.

    10.Prize will be awarded at the end of the program.

    11.All the Participating Dancer should arrive 1 hour prior to start of the programme.

    12.Evaluation will be done in 1) originality 2) Expression 3) Presentation 4) Theme 5) Stage cover.

    13.The school needs to write about the detail of dance to be performed and submit along with the registration form within Jan 31st 2013.

    14.Refreshment will not be provided.

    15.Ticket is available for sale.

    •Rs.150/-(Will be issued to Schools) For Students only,
    all students must be in school uniform.

    •Rs. 300/- ticket for others

    •Limited free Ticket is available for SEBS Life members 2012-2013 only,Please call SEBS Office and book your ticket to avoid any disappointment.

    16.Last date of entry : Jan 31st 2013 (magh 18th 2069).

    •Registration fee for Participating school: Rs.3,500/-

    •Late registation fee Rs.4000/- (From 1st Feb 2013 to 4th Feb 2013)

    •unsold ticket and Money from ticket sale must be submitted within : Jan 31st 2013
