    14th SEBS Executive committe meeting minute

    Date: 25th April, 2013 (11th Jestha 2070)
    Venue: SEBS Office, Putalisadak, Kathmandu.
    Time: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

    The 14th SEBS meeting was held under the chairmanship of SEBS President Dr. Tejsu Singh Malla.
    Following issues were discussed and decided accordingly as mentioned below:

    1.SEBS Audit report and progress

    The progress of SEBS Audit report has been briefed by Mr. Binod (non-SEBSER) who has been given the responsibility to renew SEBS in CDO office from 2068/69. Although the audit report has been prepared for the year 2068/69 by the past ex.com, the responsibility to present in CDO office for renewal had been given to the current ex.com. The renewal process and the audit report for the year 2069/70 will be prepared within 1 month according to Mr. Binod.
    Mr. Anjan Neupane (800C) will be looking at the legal process.

    2.Final Design of SEBS T-Shirt

    The final design of SEBS T-shirt is ready and will be in production within 1 week. The T-Shirt is being planned to be launched on 12th June, 2013. This year 300 - 500 T-Shirt will be printed depending upon the cost.

    3.SEBS representation at sub-committee

    In response to letter from Budhanilkantha School dated 5th March, 2013 (23 Chaitra, 2069), requesting SEBS to send a representative in a sub-committee to look into legal aspects of Mr. Devendra Singh’s Demand for compensation , SEBS has decided that Mr. Bolaram Pandey (904 A) would be sent as the SEBS representative. The compositions of the sub-committee are as: 1) Legal Advisor – Convener 2) Teacher’s Representative-Member 3) Admin Staff’s Representative- Member, 4) Representative, FOBS- Member and 5) Representative SEBS- Member.

    4. Separate representation for SMC and BOT

    It was informed at the meeting that the process of two separate SEBS representations in SMC and BOT has already been started. SEBS had been requesting the school that two separate individual should represent SEBS. Currently the SMC and BOT is being represented by the same individual.

    5.Student’s representative

    It was decided to send a letter to principal of Budhanilkantha School, Mr. Keshar Khulal to send two student’s representation as per SEBS AOA. Current student’s representative 3019 Sailendra Bista and 3142 Mahima Ghale has completed their education in Budhanilkantha School.

    6.SEBS to support SFON BNKS Chapter

    It was decided to support Society For Open Nepal –Budhanilkantha Chapter (SFON-BNKS), which is a voluntary, nonprofit organization managed independently by the senior most students (A-Level and +2) of Budhanilkantha School, which is working under the vision of Society For Open Nepal (SFON), based in California, USA.
    The newly formed executive committee is organizing “Youth Media Interaction Program” with the objective to provide guidance to the present youth to allow them to understand as well as provide a channel to enter the budding media world of Nepal.
    Salina Neupane is the club president, and Mr. Mohan Karki and Mr. Atiram K.C is the Club Coordinator.
    SEBS will be supporting them financially as well.

    7.Office phone bills

    The office phone bills were reviewed. The phone bills were as: 1. Shrawan 2069 Rs.1,040.39 2) Bhadra 2069: Rs. 360.47 (3)Asoj 2069: Rs.260.30 (4)Kartik 2069: Rs.266.62 (5) Mangsir 2069: Rs 641.39 (6)Poush 2069: Rs 430.08 (7)Magh 2069: Rs. 379.12 (8) Falgun: Rs.259.17.
    The current executive committee has been managing daily entry of telephone call made from SEBS office since Bhadra 2069, in an effort to avoid any misuse of SEBS telephone.

    8.Clearance of dues of Dental health camp done in Budhanilkantha School

    SEBS has decided to clear the due of Rs. 4,410 to Dr.Sneedha Mainali for the purchase of equipments for the Dental health camp done in Budhanilkantha School 7 months back. 1000 piece of Dental mirror top, dental probe and dental tweezer has been added to SEBS.
    Currently these equipments will be in care of Dr. Sneedha Mainali to avoid any lost.

    9.SEBS fixed account

    It was decided in the meeting that a SEBS-Fixed account will be formed in Budhanilkantha Business Saving and Credit Co-operative Ltd (BBC). Dr. Tejsu Singh Malla, SEBS President will be working in the process to form fixed account.

    10.SEBS-NSP

    A healthy discussion was made between the SEBS ex.com and SEBS-NSP acting programme coordinator Mr. Lalit. Also presence was Mr. Rajan (NSP administrative officer finance + Administration).
    It was decided to recommend a commissioner for SEBS-NSP program who will evaluate.recommend and present a report regarding SEBS NSP to SEBS executive committee.During the meeting the possibility of using the interest of the fixed fund for forming an endower fund to support Budhanilkantha Students for post S.L.C was also discussed. Vidhan Rana is currently looking into the matter on behalf of SEBS Executive committee.

    11.SEBS next regular monthly meeting will be held on 1st Saturday of Ashar 2070 at 1pm at SEBS office, Putalisadak.
