Date: 22nd June, 2013 (8th Asar 2070), Saturday
Venue: Budhanilkantha School, Narayansthan, Kathmandu.
Time: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

The 15th SEBS meeting was held under the chairmanship of SEBS President Dr. Tejsu Singh Malla.
Following issues were discussed and decided accordingly as mentioned below:

1.SEBS Audit report and progress

The progress of SEBS Audit report has been briefed by SEBS President, Dr. Tejsu. Currently Binod (non-SEBSER) who has been given the responsibility . Binod has informed all the work related would complete within the 2nd week of Shrawan 2070.Anjan Neupane (800C) has been looking at the legal process.

2.SEBS 3000D welcome program

Dr. Tejsu informed the executive committee that about 61 students of 3000D had pledged to become the life member of SEBS. He also informed that once Budhanilkantha School administration clears the due of these 61 students, they will be issued and ID card. Currently, the name of 61 students who has pledge for the life membership has been added in the website of SEBS , sebsonline.org.
He thanked all the 3000D students who had pledge for the life membership and also thanked Kaushal Sapkota for his effort. He also thanked Ex.com members Sabril,Sharthak, Dr. Sneedha for their support and presence in the welcome program.

3. SEBS T-Shirt

SEBS General Secretary, Kaushal Sapkota informed the Executive committee that 300 SEBS T-shirt and 100 Cap made. He also informed that 30 SEBS T-Shirt has been send to SEBS NA for sale during their reunion . Around 140 T-shirt was distributed free of post during the farewell and welcome program of 3000D batch on 12th June 2013 at the Assembly of Budhanilkantha School. He also informed the remaining T-Shirt and Cap is for sale in SEBS Office.

4.SEBS fixed account

The 14th SEBS meeting had given the mandate to SEBS President, Dr. Tejsu regarding opening a SEBS-Fixed account in Budhanilkantha Business Saving and Credit Co-operative Ltd (BBC). Dr. Tejsu informed that he is working in the process to form fixed account, as well as working principle’s and hopes to complete the process by the next Ex. Com meeting.

5.SEBS-NSP

SEBS Ex. com came to a decision to form a committee of former NSP active members to evaluate the current state of NSP affairs. This committee will also suggest recommended steps forward for the program. Ex-NSP North America Coordinator and current SEBS Ex. com member Vidhan Rana will lead the committee. The committee will present its findings during the upcoming SEBS General Assembly meeting and the future steps will be voted upon during the assembly.

6.SEBS Financial Report

Discussion of the current financial situation was discussed with the SEBS Treasurer Suman Mandal.He informed that he will be presenting SEBS Financial report in the next meeting. He had already presented financial report 6 months back and will be presenting remaining financial report.
The executive committee thanked Suman for his sincere work and helping the current ex.com maintain financial transparency. Suman also informed that the due from the life member of 3000D batch was still pending and urged to talk with the school authority to release the fund as early as possible.

7.SEBS AASTHA

The meeting decided to recommend Mr. Sharthak Neupane as the editor of AASTHA 2070. Sharthak informed that work has already been started .Dr. Tejsu, SEBS President and Bidur Adhikari , 1st Vice President will be looking the advertisement aspect.

8.SEBS AGM 2070

The meeting decided to call SEBS 31st AGM on Shrawan. The Date and Venue will be decided in the next SEBS Meeting. The feast ability of online voting and mechanism was also discussed. Further discussion is to be made with Mr. Rajan Nepal (Administrator of SEBS Online, Kiran Sitoula SEBS NA President). Online voting was done in the past during the tenure of Gyanendra Raj Pandey, and the Executive committee agreed that each and every SEBSer should have the right to vote no matter where they are. The detail of the online voting will be informed later after complete study. G.S Mr. Kaushal Sapkota and SEBS President Dr. Tejsu will be looking at this matter.

9.Election Committee

The meeting also decided to call for open candidacy for the members of election committee. The total number of members of the committee is 3 (three), one of which will be chief. It was decide to call a 7 days notice for the interested people to be in the committee. The Executive committee will review the candidacy and will nominate the election committee.
According to the new amendment of 2069 BS, the Election Committee of the SEBS shall be constituted by the outgoing executive committee instead of AGM.

10.Proposed amendments in the SEBS Article of Association

The meeting also decided that the SEBS President was to propose amendments in the SEBS Article of Association in the upcoming AGM if any was to be made.

11.Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2070

It was informed that Binod Memorial Inter School Folk Dance Competition 2070 was going to be held on the premise of Budhanilkantha School at 1 pm. Sandeep Sada is coordinating the program. Mr. Kamal Khadka (brother of Late Binod Khadka)and family members would be present at the program.
The executive committee thanked Sandeep for his hardwork and wish successfully completation of the program.

12.Absence of Executive committee members

It was decided to giving a warning letter to those members who have not attended 3 consecutive meeting without prior information. If they fail to attend the next meeting then they will be terminated from the post of executive members.

13.SEBS next regular monthly meeting will be held on 1st Saturday of Shrawan 5th 2070 at 1pm at SEBS office, Putalisadak.
