Heartfelt condolences on the untimely passing of 914B Chitra Gurung-

We would like to express our deepest sorrow and mourn the untimely passing of our dearest friend and brother 914B Chitra Gurung (18th batch) at his hometown in Lamjung on 5 December 2014 at the young age of 34.

Chitra will be remembered as one of our extraordinary and down-to-earth friend and brother. We grieve with his family and with profound sadness extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Chitra was one of the strongest pillars of SEBS for very long and rightfully its backbone. He selflessly served SEBS for several years and as one of the strong pillars, held it up and intact. He played a pivotal role in helping SEBS grow and reach the height it has achieved today through his enormous contribution and dedication to strengthen SEBS networking and inter/intra-batch connections and thus bring all of us together.

The passing of Chitra-who contributed to hold SEBSers connected from the very first to the youngest batch of BNKS is an irremediable loss to SEBS and BNKS. We have lost a great SEBSer, a friend and a brother who was always there for us. He shall be sorely missed.

Like the saying- "a person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on"; Chitra and the fond memories we have will continue to live in our hearts and minds.

May his soul rest in peace and the God almighty give enough strength to the bereaved family at this time of grief.
