    SEBS 10th minute meeting

    Time: 01:00 pm to 03:30 pm

    The 10th SEBS minute meeting was held under the chairmanship of SEBS President Dr. Sneedha Mainali.
    Following issues were discussed and decided accordingly as mentioned below:
    1. One minute silence
    One minute silence was observed for Anal Upadhya (100D) who died in a car accident few weeks ago in the US and Chitra dai(900B) for his untimely demise

    1. Introduction to the new Ex-com member
    The Ex-com welcomed Mr. Prem Lamichhane (316D) as it was his first ex-com meeting.


    3. Tap establishment at BNKS (beside dining hall)
    The tap establishment besides dining hall is on full swing. The school has estimated the cost of the project to be 1lakh 8 thousand. A fund of over 1.5 lakh has been raised with the help from 100B batch. The construction work is yet to start and school is working on it.



    4. Fifth Batch Initiative (FBI)
    The fifth batch of BNKS is planning to do fundraising in order to support school and sebs. Batch representative Madan Kumar Limbu is coordinating it. SEBS highly appreciates the effort of 5th batch.

    5. Ten-Past-Six (TPS)
    The ex-com has planned to organize next TPS on January 30, 2015 at Falcha restaurant.

    6. Computer donation
    Computers worth of Rs. 68 thousand has been donated by SEBS to the Chemistry department of Budhanilkantha School.

    7. SEBS Birgunj
    Maximum SEBSers from Birgunj have taken membership of SEBS.

    8. Endowment fund
    The fund raising for the endowment fund will start from 2015. Even though, a sum of Rs. 200000 has already been deposited by Budhanilkantha School. The sum deposited is the amount BNKS was awarded for the best school in 2014.

    9. Advertisement
    SEBS and FOBS jointly congratulated Budhanilkantha School in a newspaper for winning the best school award. The cost of the advertisement was Rs. 21,968 which will be shared among SEBS and FOBS collectively.


    10. Donation by SEBS
    SEBS donated a sum of Rs. 10000 to Sano Prayas for the event 'Road to education'.
