SEBS - 9th Excom Meeting (November 22, 2014)
Agenda 1.President Sneedha Mainali attended the BNKS SMC Meeting; the following issues were discussed during the meeting Budget proposal Result - 10+2 Results exemplary Won National Award Bio diversity garden - funded by British Embassy Tap near dining hall - cost around Rs. 2-3 lakhs New Nepali Department Scholarship Baglog - new person in the Education Ministry Kathmandu Engineering College requested space at the school during vacation for project work

3. Health camp - Prakash Shahi dai isn't coming 7 day health camp to be organized from 18 to 23 Asoj
4. Binod Memorial Dance Competition Talk with FOCUS club to see if they can take responsibility for the program
5. Memorial Events SEBS is facing undue pressure in organizing memorial events Events should only go ahead if there is family or batch support in program SEBS will partner with BNKS clubs to organize memorial events
6. Vidhan Rana's loan to SEBS of Rs. 30,000 transferred to BBC Fund, 100% of the interest going to SEBS Support Fund
7. Ten Past Six Networking Event It was decided that SEBS Excomm will organize a SEBS networking event on the last Fridays of every alternative month The first event will be done in end of October It will be an informal event with no guest speakers
8. Tennis Court We have not been able to find a contractor to carry out the work Work has to be done during the tenure of this Executive Committee Cost estimate and proposal
9. 13th September - BNKS Graduation Ceremony Membership Fee needs to be collected from the school Ashmita to lead
10. Progress status of NSP Potential partnership with Bloom Nepal (led by SEBSers Ram & Rajendra 600C) is being explored Another potential collaboration is with Tulsi Shahi - Scholarships in Karnali
11. Progress status BNKS Endowment Fund Sandesh 350C is taking a lead on this from SEBS-NA side Sandesh will be in Nepal in December and we can inquire how SEBS can contribute to this effort
12. Aastha Magazine Discussion held on whether it makes sense to go online instead of printing a magazine Going online will be easier Advertisements may suffer if we go online Previous issues can be made online version Collect advertisement as normal.
