DONATE A BOOK: Make a Difference
    Author: SEBS North America
    Post Date: 5/2/2002
SEBS-North America, a Not-for-Profit Organization is coordinating a Book Project Drive in Nepal. We request everyone attending DC 2002 ANA Convention to donate at least one book per person or two per family. Books can be: New or used, college text books, children’s story books, novels or any other reading material that you consider useful to high school and college students in Nepal. If there are books lying in your attic or apartments and would like to get rid of it, now is the time to feel good about those books by donating. This is one small way in which we can help Nepal.

Collected books will be sent to Nepal and donated to the libraries of various high schools. There will be a DROP Box for the donated books in the lobby at the Marriott. We plan to collect at least 500 books during the Convention. So far DC community has already donate over 100 books weighing about 50 kg and have already been sent to Nepal.

We are also actively seeking coordinators in various metropolitan areas, colleges and universities to coordinate the Book Drive. If you are interested please contact: sebsna@sebsonline.org, Pragya Ghimire : pragie@hotmail.com or Kiran Sitoula: sitoula@yahoo.com
